Arthur Tan 

Vice-President, BBA 1992  

Arthur graduated with a BBA in 1992, on the Dean’s list. The same year, he ‘parachuted’ into post-communist Hungary to set up a Singapore Company trading in electronic products and textiles and remained there for three years.

From then on, Arthur has been a serial entrepreneur travelling to over 70 countries, responsible for the family textile business (K L Industries), Just Acia F&B group of several outlets, Wine Tatler for its exports and distribution of wines and Rain Global for processing and distribution of seafood to China. Needless to say, he enjoys authentic food and good wines, and gives regular wine talks. NUSBSA allows him to reconnect with the school and to give back what he has gained.
