Koh Phee Wah

Since graduating in 1984, Phee Wah has lived and worked outside of Singapore for more than 20 years, from the US and Australia to China (10 years), Vietnam (4 years) and Indonesia.
His work experience was mostly with Life Sciences companies (healthcare and biosciences), including Becton Dickinson and Pharmacia/Pfizer. He was most recently the CEO of Uni-BioSciences, a small-cap healthcare company listed on the HKSE, helping them prepare for the launches of 2 innovative products, starting in China.
He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant while in Australia and completed an MBA while in the US.
He served on the Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore for three years, before leaving for his China assignment. Today, he also serves on the Board of a company in Thailand, where the majority shareholder is a company listed on the London Stock Exchange.
On his return to Singapore in 2018, he founded Heka Life Sciences, from which he provides strategic advice to companies and helps them execute these strategies.
During this time, he worked with SIM on their entrepreneurial project, PlatformE. He also worked separately with start-ups, some with a portfolio previously incubated through A*Star and start-ups from NUS Enterprise (the Lean Launchpad and GRIP programs).
