What is a virtual run?

A virtual run is a race that can be run – or walked – anywhere and any time. You run at your own pace, and record your own time. This year, BCR will be held between 5th and 16th January 2022. Go at your own pace and complete the run between 5th and 16th January!

Am I eligible for the run?

BCR2022 is open to everyone (not restricted to business school alumni and students)! There is no age limit for the runs.

What are the different race categories I can join?

You can join as an individual or as a group. Please click here to view the race categories.

Do I have to complete the entire distance at one go?

No. You can either run the entire distance at once or split the distance into different sessions. The only requirement is that you have to complete the entire distance within the stipulated race period.



How will I receive the race packs?

We will provide free delivery for NUSBSA Members and Public participants. Student participants are to collect the race packs on the NUS Campus. More details will be shared closer to the distribution date. 

What am I entitled to as a participant?

Participants for BCR2022 are entitled to our Race Shirt and Race Pack which includes a variety of items! Click here for more details.



Am I eligible for student price?

You qualify for the student price if you are studying in a Primary/Secondary/Tertiary Institution (both Undergraduates and Graduates) in Singapore. Student participants are to collect the Race Packs on the NUS Campus.

Do I get a refund if I am unable to participate?

All race entries are non-refundable and non-transferable to any future events.



Can I still make a donation even if I do not participate in the run?

Yes! We welcome your donations and understand that you may not be able to turn up for the race itself.

This has been a challenging year for many and we hope to be able to raise more funds to help needy students and low-income families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, through the NUSBSA Bursary Fund and TOUCH Community Services, Elderly Care.

Note that donations above $25,000 will be accorded sub-naming rights.

Which beneficiaries will I be supporting?

The main beneficiaries of BCR2022 are Touch Community Services, Elderly Care and NUSBSA Bursary fund. Click here to find out more about them!

Will I be able to get any tax rebate for my donation?

Yes, Singapore tax residents who donate S$50 and above will be eligible for 2.5 times tax deduction. Please provide us with your NRIC and mobile number for the tax rebate on the registration form.

What was the total amount raised and how many donors participated for BCR2021?

For BCR2021, the total amount raised was $530k,  majority of the donations were in personal name. The total number of donors participated was.

How many bursary awards were distributed to students for BCR2021?

55 bursaries were awarded from the accumulative Bursary Fund from BCR2021.

How much has BCR raised so far and how many bursary awards were distributed in total for all BCR events? How many participants are there in total for all BCR events?

The total amount raised to date is $1.7m, and we have awarded 405 bursaries since inception. More than 11000 have participated in BCR before.
