About the Speakers

Ms. Wong Su-Yen

Board Chair and Independent Director

Ms. Wong Su-Yen is an experienced board chair and global independent director. She is chairperson of James Cook University Singapore, and independent director of City Developments Limited, CSE Global and First Resources. In addition, she serves on the global board of privately-held Kemin Industries, and is a director of IMDA. She was the first female chairperson of the Singapore Institute of Directors (2020-2023) and also independent chair of SGX Mainboard-listed Nera Telecommunications. She is one of 24 women featured in Women on Board: Making a Difference and a contributing author of Unleash Your Voice: Powerful Public Speaking for Every Woman. She is an Adjunct Professor at the National University of Singapore Business School, and an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization.

Ms. Kay Pang

Independent Director

Ms. Kay Pang is a senior accredited board director and corporate lawyer with over 26 years of experience in governance, law, technology, and sustainability across APAC, EMEA, and the US. She currently serves as Independent Director on the boards of Grand Banks Yachts (SGX:G50), Serial Achieva (SGX:XHV), Singapore Heart Foundation, and The Red Pencil Singapore. Her prior board roles include NeraTel (SGX:N01), Breast Cancer Foundation, AWWA, and Passerelles Numériques. Kay is CEO of Kay Pang Law Practice LLC, specialising in business and technology law. She previously held senior legal roles at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Aveva-Schneider Electric, VMware, and Cloudera, and practised law at Drew & Napier, Allen & Overy, and Shook Lin & Bok.

Mr. Terence Quek

CEO and Board Member

Mr. Terence Quek is the CEO of Singapore Institute of Directors. He is a board member of the Health Sciences Authority, Chair of SAFRA Mount Faber Executive Committee, District Councillor, member of PAssionWave Advisory Committee, and volunteers in various capacities at the Singapore Management University. He was a board member of NACLI, Lee Kong Chian School of Business Alumni Board, and Bone Marrow Donor Programme. He served as a startup mentor with Action Community for Entrepreneurship, and was a member of a School Advisory Committee. Terence served 13 years with the Singapore Navy, and was the regional CEO of a company he co-founded and led through two M&A exercises. He contributes to national-level programmes related to employment, skills and sustainability, serving on committees and working groups organised by ACRA, Charity Council, Enterprise Singapore, NVPC and TAFEP.

Mr. Steven Yeo

President

Mr. Steven Yeo is the President of the NUS Business School Alumni Association (BSA), and currently leading the Caregiving Welfare Association, Steven focuses on enhancing seniors' lives and supporting caregivers through direct services in wellness, welfare, and education. Leveraging expertise in new business development and CRM, he and his team are dedicated to fostering independence and joyful ageing-in-place. As an advisor with Health Parliament and other companies, he synthesizes healthcare information technology with regional trends to guide industry collaborations. With this dual engagement, he is committed to driving digital transformation in healthcare and aged care, aiming to improve health outcomes through intelligent technology and strategic insightSteven also serves as Vice President of the Bone Marrow Donor Programme (BMDP), where he chairs the Human Resource Sub-Committee and sits on the Audit & Governance and Nomination Sub-Committees, contributing to vital national health initiatives.

Mr. Thompson Wong

Director

Mr. Thompson Wong is an Associate Director in UBS’s Chief Investment Office, where he oversees supervisory analysis across cross-asset investment research. He has previously served as Chief of Staff for UBS APAC’s CFO Office and held senior roles at Grab, Brunswick Group, and FTI Consulting, advising on financial communications, fintech, and capital markets strategy. Beyond the corporate sector, Thompson is a Reserve Officer in Singapore’s Ministry of Defence, contributing to defence policy and strategy. A Director of the NUS Business School Alumni Association (BSA), FINRA-certified Supervisory Analyst and Harvard Business School Online graduate. He brings strategic insight and cross-functional leadership to his role as Moderator for this event.
